Introduzione

Questo vorrebbe essere un blog parallelo a 'An Italian in the US', che e' il mio blog principalmente di cucina, viaggi, e qualche commento di libri e film. In questo blog vorrei presentare meditazioni quotidiane principalmente intese come commento alle Letture del Giorno, per iniziare, ma mi piacerebbe in realta' estenderlo anche a riflessioni di altro genere. Per esempio, vorrei includere frasi di persone sagge non necessariamente cristiane o religiose, o versi di altri testi sacri.
Penso che la lingua principale di questo blog sara' l'Italiano, ma tentero' di tradurre anche qualcosa in Inglese, un po' in modo speculare a quanto succede sull'altro mio blog.
Mi piacerebbe molto se altre persone volessero partecipare a questo blog, sia con commenti, sia (se si sentono di impegnarsi maggiormente) come co-autori.

I would like this blog to be a parallel of my blog 'An Italian in the US'. In that other blog I mainly speak about cooking, travelling and a few book and movie reviews. In this blog I'd like to post daily meditations, starting mainly with comments on the daily readings (from Catholic and I think in parallel also Anglican and maybe Episcopalian Churches). I'd like to extend these meditations by including also sentences by wise people not necessarily Christian or religious at all, or verses from other Sacred scriptures.
I think the main language of this blog is going to be Italian, but I'll try and translate some also in English, a bit like I do in my other blog, the other way around. I'll put more English translation depending on how much interest I find in my non-Italian readers.
I'd be very happy if other people decided to participate to this blog, either with comments or becoming co-authors, if they'd like.
